Design, Planning, and Construction of an outdoor Art Gallery
Partners: Daniel Nachmias
The Gallery was for a unique photography project at the global Burning Man festival, the gallery was built in the heart of the desert with museum-quality finishes in a Renaissance style. The shape and design of the gallery were inspired by that year's Burning Man theme, Renaissance, and its connection to the artist's photography. The gallery's form is derived from the golden ratio found in Leonardo da Vinci's Vitruvian Man and its relationship to the Mundi Axis. The origin of these axes symbolizes the beginning of existence and time, placing humanity at the center—the foundational idea of that era.
The design and planning process was conducted from Israel, taking into account American measurement standards and transportation limitations. The project was built and dismantled in a workshop in Los Angeles before being reassembled in the deserts of Nevada.
