The picnic table is one of the most recognizable icons of outdoor dining, a piece of furniture that brings a bit of indoor culture outside, inviting people for a break—"picnic". Its simple and durable design can be found in parks, forests, and public spaces.
The “Yoel” Table is an evolution of the classic picnic table—a hybrid between a table, bench, and bleachers. It's a multifunctional structure that allows for seating in various configurations and levels. The height and seating arrangements make it a social centerpiece, inviting people to find their place—whether for a face-to-face conversation or just hanging with a drink. Yoel is suitable for individuals, couples, families or any spontaneous social gathering. It allows you to be at the center of attention or just slightly above or below.
Much like processes of urban renewal and densification, the table itself evolves through a playful interaction with scale and proportions, reminding us of a world that is becoming more crowded, where natural resources are increasingly scarce in comparison to the growing population. This shift will inevitably require us to develop new "picnicking" solutions.
